Chairman Dang Hoang An commended Sungrow Renewables' contributions and effective investments, especially in renewable energy. He emphasized that Sungrow’s wind and solar power projects, with a combined capacity of nearly 600MW in Vietnam, have made a significant impact.

EVN's leadership sees substantial potential for cooperation with Sungrow Renewables, particularly as Vietnam intensifies efforts to develop sustainable energy projects. Strengthening collaboration and optimizing solutions will help increase the share of clean energy in the national power grid, contributing to Vietnam's commitment to achieving Net-Zero emissions by 2050.

Given Sungrow’s expertise, EVN also proposed the company explore additional solutions for efficient energy use in industrial zones, develop ecosystems related to renewable energy, and address grid stability challenges of high penetration renewable energy. Furthermore, the two companies were encouraged to facilitate technical knowledge exchange between their engineers.

Sungrow Renewables, a well-known inverter brand with a total installed capacity of 605GW across more than 170 countries, is currently focused on developing solar energy, wind energy, energy storage, and hydrogen charging technology.

In Vietnam, Sungrow Renewables has already invested in numerous renewable energy projects with a total investment of over VND 14,700 billion. These projects include 300MW of wind power in Dak Nong, 100MW of wind power in Gia Lai, and 150MW of solar power in Binh Thuan and Tay Ninh.
