The AETS consulting team included Ms. Ana Vilar - Head of the consulting team and Gender Equality Expert; Ms. Le Thi Hong Giang - Gender Equality Expert of AETS in Vietnam.

Sharing at the meeting, Ms. Ana Vilar - Team Leader and Gender Equality Expert of AETS said that within the framework of cooperation, the French Development Agency (AFD) has been supporting EVN to implement the Gender Equality Plan from 2021 to 2025 according to the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two parties on 11 October 2023.

In which, the consulting unit AETS has built a roadmap for implementing the support project with 3 main stages including Reviewing the strategy, evaluating the current gender action plan from 2021 to 2025; Improving gender equality in EVN's operations; Enhancing the capacity of leaders and female employees at EVN.

Mr. Vo Quang Lam - EVN Vice President, and Head of EVN Women's Advancement Department, provided more information about EVN's achievements in implementing gender equality work over the past years and hoped that the interview program would take place on schedule and with the expected targets, providing an overview of the results of implementing the gender action plan at EVN over the past years.

AETS conducting interviews with EVN leaders and heads/Deputy Heads of EVN's professional departments on gender equality activities at Vietnam Electricity.

The project is being launched in December 2023, moving towards the main implementation stage in March 2024, and completing the plan by the end of 2024.
