EVNNPC Youth Union carries out social security work for community

The Youth Union of EVNNPC and Son La Power Company (Son La PC) have just inaugurated and handed over the youth work “Lighting up the Countryside roads” in Yen Chau District, Son La Province. This is an activity towards the 70th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnam Electricity Sector, and the 55th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC).

The youth work “Lighting up the countryside roads” includes 3 roads with solar-powered lighting systems installed along the roads of the hamlets: Ban Bat, Ban Dong, and Ban Met Sai, Sap Vat commune, Yen Chau district, Son La province, with 54 sets of solar-powered lights mounted on existing steel poles, illuminating about 1,650m of internal roads and 1,144 residents with a total value of more than VND120 million.
The work uses modern, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly lighting technology to help people travel conveniently, and ensure security, order and traffic safety in the locality, contributing to changing the appearance of the countryside and new urban areas.
Outdoor reading zano at Lien Chung Primary and Secondary School
EVNNPC Youth Union has cooperated with Son La PC to hand over the outdoor reading zone and donate more books and stories to Lien Chung Primary and Secondary Schools, with the desire to bring a new reading space, combined with nature to inspire students.
