Lao Cai PC: Reconstruction power supply work to two villages of Kho Vang and Nam Tong completed

On November 16, 2024, Lao Cai Power Company (Lao Cai PC) energized the reconstruction power supply work for two residential areas that were severely damaged after Storm No. 3 (Yagi): Kho Vang village, Coc Lau commune and Nam Tong village, Nam Luc commune, Bac Ha district.

Kho Vang and Nam Tong villages were heavily damaged in people and property due to the circulation of Storm No. 3.

Up to now, Lao Cai PC has completed the energization of substations at Kho Vang and Nam Tong villages, meeting the living and development needs in these areas.

The work of power supply to resettlement areas was implemented with a total investment of more than VND 7.6 billion. Kho Vang and Nam Tong villages alone received an investment of more than VND 4 billion, including the construction of a new 1.42km 35kV line, the installation of two overhead substations with a capacity of 250kVA each, 2km of 0.4kV line and the entire low-voltage line from behind the meter to 53 households in Nam Tong village and 47 households in Kho Vang village.
