Talk show 'Sharing responsibility for peak power supply in 2024 dry season'' takes place at 2:00 p.m. on 8 April 2024.

In his opening speech, Mr. Vo Dang Thien - vice chief editor of VietNamNet newspaper said that in recent years, the hot weather situation has become increasingly complicated due to the impact of the El Nino phenomenon, leading to increasing power demand, causing an overload of the power system, etc. This year, the Government, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and Vietnam Electricity have been very proactive in forecasting the situation and carefully assessing the supply and demand of power. However, the national power system still faces many challenges, especially the power supply to the North in 2024.

Therefore, VietNamNet newspaper organized a talk show on 'Sharing responsibility for peak power supply in the 2024 dry season' to provide an assessment and forecast of the power supply situation this summer; as well as hoping to receive suggestions and comments from delegates so that the power supply in 2024 is stable, especially during peak hours.
